DNA

DNA is the code of life that defines who you are and what you do. Mount Lebanon has a DNA too! We are a community for the community with Jesus as our heartbeat. We share one faith and one ministry. We are one family with many parts. This is our DNA. This is who we are in Christ. And now, everything that we do as a church flows out of our DNA. In this sermon series, we want to explore five things that we will do together: Gathering, Growing, Connecting, Giving and Going. This is who we are. This is what we do.

Going

We are a community for the community with Jesus as our heartbeat. And we are going to keep on going with the gospel until the whole world hears. (We’ll be looking at Mark 1:29-39.)

Giving

We are a community for the community with Jesus as our heartbeat. We give with our whole lives to the church, to our community and to each other as God has gifted each one of us. This weekend we’ll consider parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37). It’s time for us to do good for those around us.

GROWING - 9/26/21

We are a community for the community with Jesus as our heartbeat. We recognize that we are not where we want to be in our walk of faith and so we will grow in God’s Word personally and together with one another.

CONNECTING

We are a community for the community with Jesus as our heartbeat. We are one family. This means that we will connect with one another as a family of faith. This weekend we’ll be looking at sections of Proverbs to study what the Bible says about friendship.

GATHERING

We are a community for the community with Jesus as our heartbeat. We share one faith. The most important thing we do each week is gathering. We gather with each other and with our God for worship.
