Sin is such a powerful thing. Temptation tugs at us every step of the way. Our fall into sin and a denial of Jesus isn’t a matter of if, but when. Through it all, however, Jesus is right with us. He is there during our temptation. He will receive He warned Peter before his denial. He is there afterward. He called Peter back his denial and overwhelming forgave his sin. He will not leave us. He will walk with us in our whole life and will receive us to his side on the last day. We will not be ashamed.
