NEW SERIES... Get ready!

A new sermon series HOPE REMAINS is coming: God looks down at the earth. He lights a lamp and searches each heart and each house. What he finds troubles him. What he finds hurts him. What he finds angers him. And so he speaks. He sends his prophet to speak. He calls us to repent. He calls us to seek him. He calls us to hope in him and in him alone. And so for us hope remains. Hope that God will cover us and give us refuge on the day of his wrath. Hope that God will sing over us, and that he will take great delight in us. Yes, as long as the earth endures and God's Word is preached, hope remains.

This weekend, we’re starting a brand new series on the Book of Zephaniah. And we’re going to try something. We’re going to try adding a video/audio study to accompany the book. We may not do this every time, but I think Zephaniah needs it. For instance, what do you know about Zephaniah? About the context of the book? About why it was written? About why we need to study and consider it today? We don’t have time in a sermon to cover all of these things, so we have to cover it sometime. So, I’m going to prepare some short (15-20 min) video/audio commentaries on the book to walk us through it. The first one will be released this Friday and will be shared here and in our weekly email. I want to challenge you to dig in. Take a little bit more time to look at Zephaniah. Take a little bit more time to wrestle with it. It has a message that we need to hear today. Will you take the time listen?
