Amos: Let Justice Roll
Amos is a powerful little book. In it, God roars to his people and to us calling us to let justice roll like a stream. He also calls us to seek God and to prepare to meet him. This is an important little book that will shake us to our foundations and even shake the sins right off us. A new series beginning on February 13. (Check out this video for a brief, 7-minute video, for an overview.)
This weekend, we’ll be looking at Amos 1:1-2 and 3:1-8. The nation of Israel was shaken by the earthquake. This earthquake shook them to the core and awakened them to this Word that Amos had preached two years prior. In this sermon, we begin to see God’s hand in our lives, shaking us and awakening us to his Word.
