Update Tuesday.PNG

Dear family!

God is up to something. Of that there is no doubt. We were reminded of that in the sermon about the Mustard Seed. If you missed it last weekend, you can watch our listen to it here. It may seem like there is nothing going on. It may seem small or insignificant. We may even seem to be beating our heads against a wall. But God’s kingdom and his work is still moving on. No one and nothing can stop our God. One day, yes, one day soon we will see the good, glorious and powerful work that our God has been doing as he grows a majestic tree from a minuscule seed.

We get to see that work happening through our school. In one week from Wednesday (8/26) our school will be back in session. Our teachers will be teaching. Our scholars will be growing. It isn’t quite the in-person start we had hoped for, but it is the virtual start which our God has prepared for us and has prepared us for. We’ll be kicking off this school year with the Word of God and prayer. We’ll be installing Kaitlyn Ceasar as our new 6th grade teacher. We’ll also encourage our teachers and educational assistants too so that we can include them all in our prayers this year. Let’s kick off this year with God’s Word and prayer. We will do this Sunday morning as part of the morning service. (Last week we encouraged you to come on Saturday; this week we’re encouraging you to come on Sunday.)

God-willing we’ll see you this weekend!

We are his!

Join Mary Dillard and the rest of your Mount Lebanon family on Saturday (August 22) to give our sanctuary a deep clean. We’ve got a list of tasks we’d like to accomplish. The more hands we have on hand, the more quickly we’ll be able to finish this up.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 22 - 9 - 10:30 AM.

Donuts and coffee will be provided.
